James Hammack
CEO / Chief Nerd
Jim Hammack is the CEO and Chief Nerd of Nerd Crossing, an IT/Web company that is passionate about helping small businesses and non-profits. Jim has over 25 years experience in the IT industry, including time at IBM and Charles Schwab, and he holds a BS in Electrical Engineering (Computers) from USC and an M.B.A. Jim dedicates his spare time to helping the community any way he can. He is a champion for local non-profits and proudly serves on several Boards, including his local Boys & Girls Clubs since 2008. He also serves on the National Area Council Committee for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which provides representation and a voice for more than 5,400 Clubs that impact over 3.3 million children and teens each year. Jim is a long-time Bay Area resident, moved here after spending his childhood on the South Island of New Zealand and now has twin toddlers!
Jorge Vidrio
Information Systems Specialist
Jorge is an IT specialist with over 13 years experience at Nerd Crossing. He is CompTIA A+ and Server+ certified and supports our PC and Mac small business clients. He is passionate about helping clients with technology issues and has consistently provided exceptional customer service to all clients.
Stuart Mackay
Web Developer
Stuart has been creating websites since the last millennium. His duties at Nerd Crossing include monitoring activity on all our hosted sites, dealing with technical issues and pro-active maintenance. He also builds new sites, themes, plugins and specialized applications as required.
Angelica Deleon
Operations and Financial Manager
Angelica is an Operations and Financial Manager with two decades of experience leading and supporting teams, managing AR/AP and financial planning, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. Focused on building strong working relationships, improving processes, strengthening profitability, and partnering closely with leadership to support overall business goals.
David Sua
Information Systems Specialist
With over 12 years of experience at Nerd Crossing, David is deeply passionate about technology and even more about people, process, and understanding how tech should work for you—not against you. David supports PC and Mac small business clients with a practical, human-first approach, pairing technical expertise with clear communication and exceptional customer service to make technology less frustrating and more useful.
Eric Ross
Information Technology Specialist
Eric brings valuable hands-on experience to his role of IT Specialist. His past experience has equipped him with the expertise to assist users with various technologies, including PCs, Macs, and mobile phones. He is certified as an Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACIT) and Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT). Helping others is important to Eric, both professionally and personally, and he finds genuine satisfaction in providing service and support.
Barbora Petrencikova
Marketing Manager, Web Designer
A transplant from the corporate realm, Barbora has over 10 years of marketing and web design experience and a creative streak that doesn’t stop. She is a passionate story teller who loves helping people bring their vision to life. As one of the Nerds, she treats each new client and project with understanding, compassion, and purpose to design for functionality as well as aesthetics.
