The Challenge
With the summer season approaching, a leading STEM non-profit needed to provision and deploy a massive fleet of hardware to four separate campuses nationwide. The project required a “zero-failure” setup for students, consistent software environments, and a way to manage assets scattered across the country.
The Solution
We acted as the central nervous system for their national tech rollout:
- Mass Procurement & Provisioning: Sourced and staged 150+ new Dell laptops. To ensure uniformity, we engineered a custom “Golden Image” and deployed it via high-speed USB arrays.
- Systems Management: Enrolled all devices in a specialized Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform for security and real-time asset tracking.
- National Logistics: Configured, kitted, and shipped approximately 150 units to four distinct campuses across the US, ensuring every device arrives “plug-and-play” ready.
- Student Support: Provided dedicated remote helpdesk support for over 500 seasonal staff and 150 students, ensuring technical hurdles never interrupted the learning experience.
The Impact
The non-profit successfully launched their most ambitious summer program to date. By outsourcing the imaging, logistics, and support, their educators were able to focus entirely on the curriculum rather than troubleshooting hardware.
